Salary Range: $18.00-$18.50/hr.

Location: On-site at our Clubhouse program in Tampa, FL

What You'll be Doing?

  • Responsible for hands-on preparation of healthy meal options (breakfast and lunch).
  • Knowledge of procedures and standards for Safety and Sanitation.
  • Work side-by-side with Clubhouse members (adults living with disabilities) in all aspects of culinary operations: menu planning, inventory, purchasing, meal preparation, service, food safety, sanitation and clean-up.
  • Co-manage Clubhouse kitchen and dining room.
  • Role model professional workplace behaviors, attitudes and relationships.
  • Operate computers, cash register, electronic devices and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Implement menus that align with the nutritional guidelines that enhance the overall health and well-being of our members and guests.
  • Assume additional vocational rehabilitation responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Help members explore vocational training and employment opportunities with the culinary arts.
  • Additional duties as assigned and deemed necessary for the betterment and growth of the organization.

What is Required?

  • Associates Degree in human services related field.
  • Ability to pass Federal, State, Local Law and Level 2 background clearances.
  • Valid Florida Driver License. Occasional daytime travel to assist Clubhouse members. This position does not require overnight travel.
  • Minimum (3) years of professional experience working with adults in behavioral health setting.
