Software Systems Support Specialist

ACTS is a Non  Profit organization that has been serving the community for over 30 years  providing individualized behavioral health services in substance abuse and mental health. Pay: $24.04 per hr.

The Software Systems Support Specialist will oversee data production and electronic health records system configuration for the assigned department and will ensure the quality of the data produced in a timely and efficient manner 

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Oversees and manages assigned project and/or department's data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements.
  • Serves as the point person for data-related tasks on an assigned project.
  • Coordinates the production of data by the assigned department and by other data developers.
  • Manages the development of program data and ensures that established schedules and billing requirements are met.
  • Works closely with the Quality Assurance and Finance Departments in creating and running reports.
  • Fields data-related questions and assists with customer-required process reviews.
  • Participate in monthly and weekly teleconferences regarding Electronic Health Records systems for Credible et
  • Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of data preparation procedures and requirements.
  • Experience with SQL, Visual Studio, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and other text editors. 
  • Reporting writing and configuration as well as designing file layouts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Pre-requisite Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Database Systems Management or related field.  
  • Two years of experience in the data management field. A Bachelor's degree in Database Systems Management or related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Attribute:

  • Bachelor's degree in Database Systems Management or related field.
  • Previous experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (i.e. Credible) 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full time position.  Days of work are Monday through Friday, hours may range from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours allowed, with approval.
